Great day at Sound Waters!

We did some water testing of the sound, fed the fish, observed plankton on microscopes and identified algae in many of the products we use every day...all before lunch!

What a great learning experience! :-)

Earthquake - Nuclear Issue in Japan

Hi All,

After a few crazy days we will be getting back to normal again in science class. I would like to discuss this article with you about the Japan situation.



In light of the information you read recently on Yucca Mountain, this is really an interesting issue to examine together.

Genetics Assessment this FRIDAY! 3/25

The genetics unit was a quick one! We have our final assessment for genetics this Friday. I am available after school from 3 - 4 PM on Tuesday and Thursday for ALL who would like to have a brush up on any concepts that are giving you difficulty.
