The bacteria are coming!
Blood type testing (simuation)
Eggciting Eggperience!
This is the EGG speriment.
Beaker #1 had diet coke... it cracked open but showed that some sode entered the cell.
Beaker #2 had corn syrup... the egg became VERY wrinkled and much smaller and floppier.
Beaker #3 had water... in which the egg didn;t appear to change much (maybe a tad bigger)
Even with these qualitative result we may be able to draw some conclusions. What do you think is going on here? How does it relate to the cell membrane and it's important job for the cell?

Science Mid-Term Wed.
Hi All,
You should all be studying your science notes this weekend. The mid-term is different than the unit assessments. On a mid-term questions can be asked about any topics that have been covered from September until now! This includes the following units: Studying people Scientifically, Human Body, and Cell and Disease (our current unit).
Review your notes and vocab lists for the main topics and use the online textbook for support.
Also, see the links on the right side of this page for the ppt's that I have been using in class to review some of the lessons we have covered in class. These should be similar to your notes.
Best of luck!
Mr. Forde :-)
