Microscopists at work!

sry; this doesn't have much to do with the microscopes, but i had a quick question about the chia head project. it says that we need a key for the bar graph, and i didn't know what was supposed to be in it. if the date is already under the bar that matches is, then what's left that needs to be in the key?

Hi Kaitlin...let's talk int he AM about the key. It actually mau not be necessary because it isn'y a double bar graph.

Hi Kelly.... color is an interesting thing with cells. Red blood cells do actually look pinish and plant cells actually do look green, due to chlorophyl but many cell do ave that semi-clear appearance. We'll see more in class this week!

remember the activity you showed us on the promeathean board with the coffee bean and the grain of rice and all the cells in comparison? you said you would post it on the blog and i can't find it. it looked cool and i wanted to see it again.

Rght above the microscope image is the link to the "cell size simulation", I agree it is VERY cool.

i had sooo much fun using the microscopes and seeing all the little cells. are we gonna see any other types of cells?
