Lung Volume Experiment

Hi All,

Here is an image and a movie of some students trying to expel ll of the air from their lungs into a water jug so we can see their volume of air that their lungs can hold.

  3. That was a cool experiment, but too bad I didn't go. *frowns* I will do it at home with a cup and a bowl of water and see if it works. But still congrats for the people that did the experiment.

    First of all, I did find glasses. See me in the AM.

    Also, there are three types of muscle that we discussed (and was in a homework!!)

    Skeletal (in skeletal muscles) , Cardiac (in the heart), and smooth (found in the digestive system)
