The abstract should be brief. Just long enough to address the answers on the planning sheet. I would guess somewhere near 6 sentences? It is intended to be a brief summary of the whole report.
Hi Mr.Forde I need help with the control for my lab report. My topic was right leg vs left leg. I'm stuck, because I do not know what the control would be. Thanks -Carlos A.
Regarding the left leg right leg data...I guess you could use the two leg one hand caatch data (out of 20) from the previous experiment. That would give you three sets of data: control (both legs), left and right.
Your graph would then have 3 bars for each person.
I hope this helps!
Mr. F :-)
ps- if this is still a prolem we will chat in the am during advisory
The summary does make you repeat some ideas that are in your abstract but REMEMBER that the abstract is very brief. The conclusion of the report should be longer and more detailed with a discussion of the data etc.
Mr. F :-)
ps- there is no certain length for the conclusion section. Go for it!

For the summarizing part of the abstract, how do we summarize it again?
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't make the football game Jordan. I forgot about a thing my family had to do at our church this morning.

ReplyDeletemr. f :-)
I'll stop checking for message after 9 PM.
For the data section do you have to make just the table? and for the data analysis just the bar graph?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your information!
