  1. hi mr. forde hope you had a happy thanksgiving. I went on to the extra credit blog. i learned many facts ex:bacteria once covered whole earth. Also that bacteria is a single cell and it does photosythieses.i did not now that mitochondria and choloplast originated as bacteria, archea survive today in extremily harsh enviorments. The last interesting fact that i laerned was that scientist use archea to find extraterestial life. See you tomorrow Mr. Forde.

    You have some interesting facts there!

    yes...scientists theorize that mitochondria and chloroplasts once were separate organisms that started to coexists with certain cells until they became incorporated into their structure. Weird, right? Also, life is found in almost every environment we look (high acid, high heat, high salt etc.) which makes the chance of finding something in an extreme area, like another planet, seem more possible!

    Good work beefing up your knowledge on your own! One you do that there will be no stopping you!!
