Mr. Forde, i think this picture is pretty crazy because it shows the cells of this plant in what is basicly perfect detail. I enjoyed looking at the plant cells through the microscope and i hope to do that again. I look foward to seeing more interesting items like this on your blog.
Hi Mackenzie...I agree that it looks like at least 500x with a really clean scope! Good call. You can really see those chloroplasts and cell walls! The cells also look alive to me and not prepared..like our slides.

No sweat...it is hard to get all of the posts straight. We wil be spending a couple of weeks with the scopes around Thanksgiving or before. I am glad you are enjoying being a microscopist!
ithink that the other side with the greater amount of seeds would have more but still be the same height as the other side as long as you give them the same amount of water
