I just took the bone quiz i got every one correct. I find it easier to name them like skull instead of cranium. And thighbone, shoulderblade. Will we have to learn it like skull or cranium?

Great Izabella!

I think you should reach fior the more technical terms because those are the ones that scientists and doctors (like you in the future) use.

Thinkgs like cranium, sternum, patella are not too difficult for you or anyone else on the black team.

See you tomorrow!

ok thanks. Its not that hard i was just wondering. But will you want us to know both ways?

I think it might be helpful to know both ways. For example, if I asked what is the "patella"? you should know that it is the knee cap. etc.

Hi Mr. Forde,
Just wanted to let you know that I did the first two links about the human body. They were a lot of fun, especially the second one. I got an 100 on both of them. The last link I just read over and did not do an activity becasue I did not see one.
Thanks,
Catherine

Whoa...lots of comments!

I am glad you are all enjoying the games!

Haley...I am intending to give all groups at least one more day to finish their skeleton diagrams and then i may have an after school session for those who really want to clean them up. they are coming out great! the detial in the drawings is improving a lot!

I do need to move into other topics about bones and musckes and then on to the digestive system after the break!

I really like this unit. i hope you will too.

Mr. F :-)

I really liked the game skeleton disaster. It was really nice because you got to match up and put back all the bones and at the same time it told up what that bone was. The skeleton quiz was really easy, because we have learned so much in class that I knew were everything was!

Hey Mr.forde i thought the bone quiz was easy. I was wondering if our quiz will be like tht. If all we have to do is label the bones.

Mr. Forde,
I did all the activities posted and I think they can really help. One thing is that, for the bones quiz link it doesn't use the trems you want us to study without it saying the other name for it. I know it sounds a bit confusing but, maybe i'll talk to you in class. Also, is the test open ended or will there be choices for the questions on the notes?
thanks.

hey Mr.forde,
i played the bone quiz, and the activity's in science helped me memorize where the bones were, which made the game pretty easy.

Hi Mr. Forde,
I just had a question. On the test tomorrow, are we going to have to know all the 11 organ systems and their job?
Thanks,
Catherine
