Heart Disease homework
Hi All!
There is a part of the homework that states TAKE ACTION. Please don't do that section. Just answer the ordinary questions.
Thank you!
Mr. F :-)
ps- Here is a link to a heart article that you might find interesting!

Week of 5/12
Hi All,
Last week brought with it more information and notes on the respiratory system. We then took a quiz related to the muscular, digestive and respiratory system. We also did the "tidal volume" water bucket demo together. Here are a few kids working hard on the quiz!
Friday was an interesting day as we accomplished our second video conference with students from Mexico. We also learned about the path of blood through the heart!
Lastly, during the second academic period on friday we answered the question, "if a tree falls at scofield an a science teacher is teaching, will the kids hear it?" YES...they did! Here is an image of it after it hit the ground narrowly missing several staff vehicles!
I look forward to some hands on experiments this week relating to the circulatory system and a "Feel the Beat" Assessment. We'll really get our blood pumping!
Mr. Forde :-)

Lung Volume Experiment
Quiz Wed/Thurs
Hi All!
I have started receiving anxious messages concerning the quiz (not test) on Wed. and Thurs. Don't be overly concerned, but Do prepare by studying! now...what will be on the test? Anything we have covered since bones. That includes muscles, digestive system and anything on the respiratory system. I would review my Cornell notes and any hand-outs.
The cornell notes should be updated tonight. Look under the USEFUL LINKS section for the latest version. Or Click Here.
As Louis Pasteur once said, "Chance favors the prepared mind". So prepare!
